Wayne and Cathie Lockwood Endowment for Technology Enrichment
The Wayne and Cathie Lockwood Endowment for Technology Enrichment fund helps support the expenses associated with bringing outstanding speakers, practitioners or visiting professors in technology to ISU. Wayne Lockwood joined the department of technology at Illinois State University in 1969, after having served as an NDEA Fellow there the prior summer. He taught design/drafting, computer/microprocessor programming, and computer graphics. He also co-authored filmstrips, videotapes and an interactive laser video disc. Throughout his 38 year career in higher education, he had a strong professional interest in and provided leadership for curriculum improvement and program enrichment at the departmental, college and university levels. He retired in 2002. Cathie Lockwood received her bachelor's degree in history from ISU in 1996. Prior to retirement, she was a volunteer for STAR Literacy.
