Victoria Gasche Lannie Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Victoria Gasche Lannie Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by the Estate of Vickie Lannie to provide financial support for students enrolled in the Mennonite College of Nursing. Vickie Lannie graduated from Mennonite in 1965. She took an early interest in providing compassionate care to individuals who were dying, which led to a 32-year career in hospice care. Lannie built a hospice program for Methodist Hospital before serving as executive director of the campaign for the creation of a rural community center in Washington, IL. Lannie's legacy centers around a lifelong desire to make a difference for those who need it the most, and for those who often cannot advocate for themselves.
