Ruth Stroud Award
The Ruth Stroud Memorial Award fund was established in 1979 from funds received from Ruth Stroud's estate, attorney, family, and friends. Because of Ruth Stroud's close ties with University High School, an award honoring the outstanding female senior student was established in her honor. The Ruth Stroud Memorial Award is presented annually to the outstanding female student at University High School.
