Nancy G. Swayne Endowed Scholarship
The Nancy G. Swayne Endowed Scholarship was established in 2005 by Marjorie Swayne to honor her daughter, Nancy G. Swayne, who passed away in 1998. Nancy Swayne attended Illinois State from 1964 to 1968, receiving her BS in elementary education. The Nancy G. Swayne Scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman who has demonstrated leadership involvement in extracurricular and/or community activities. Preference will be given to a graduate of Rock Island High School.
