Luelle E. Schultze Scholarship

This fund was established through a bequest by Luelle E. Schultz, and was created out of her desire to honor outstanding students pursuing a career in elementary education. Candidates must be a senior at ISU with a major in elementary education, a resident of Illinois, and plan to teach in Illinois. Students must have attended ISU for at least 95 percent (115 out of 121 semester hours) of the student's entire undergraduate education, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale as confirmed by the official ISU transcript. Preference will be given to students who have a proven interest in reading/language arts in the K-6th grade education level. Assets of this endowment are invested in the ISU Endowment Pool.
