LaRue Sloan Scholarship

This endowment was established in 2002 by family and friends as a memorial for LaRue Sloan, a 1929 graduate of the Mennonite School of Nursing. The scholarship is awarded to a student from a rural agricultural setting with at least 60 credits toward graduation from Mennonite College of Nursing. Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool. The LaRue Sloan Scholarship was established in 2002 by family and friends as a memorial for LaRue Sloan, a 1929 graduate of the Mennonite School of Nursing. The scholarship is awarded to a student from a small town or rural community accepted for enrollment or enrolled in good standing at the Mennonite College of Nursing.
