Ken Stier Engineering Technology Endowed Scholarship
The Ken Stier Engineering Technology Scholarship supports a Department of Technology student who has a strong desire to pursue a career in Engineering Technology or a related field. Ken Stier was a professor in the Department of Technology at Illinois State University from 1981 through 2011. During that time he helped transition the Integrated Manufacturing Systems sequence into the Engineering Technology major and served as the coordinator of both programs. The student chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers established this fund in 1991 in the Department of Technology.
