Jana L. Edge Endowed International Transcultural Nursing Scholarship
Jana L. Edge enjoyed her career as a nurse and nursing instructor. In 1992, Jana was asked by the Bloomington/Normal's Sister City Association to lead an effort in response to a request for help to organize humanitarian aid for the city of Vladimir. Through her experiences with this project she grew to love helping people in other countries improve their lives through medical education. This scholarship will assist nursing students to have the opportunity to travel internationally, seeing nursing from an outside perspective, and learn to thrive outside their comfort zones. The purpose of this fund is to assist with expenses resulting from participation in international programs.
