ISU Civil Service Scholarships

The Illinois State University Civil Service Council awards financial assistance to the dependents of Illinois State University civil service employees who are attending Illinois State University. The awards are made possible through funds presented by the Illinois State Foundation through the Foundation Board's annual budgeting process. Additionally, faculty, staff, retirees, and others may make contributions to the Civil Service Scholarship Restricted Fund. Awards will be presented at the discretion of the Civil Service Council, generally in the amount of $500 each ($250 per semester).Candidates must be a child living in the household and/or be a dependent of a full-time ISU Civil Service status employee, be a full-time student working toward an undergraduate degree or diploma, and have a grade point average of ā€œCā€ or above in high school and/or college. Financial need will be considered. A recipient may be awarded a maximum of two one-year scholarships. Contributions for this fund are raised by the civil service council and the same requirements apply. Awards will be presented at the discretion of the Civil Service Council, generally in the amount of $500 each ($250 per semester).Candidates must be a child living in the household and/or be a dependent of a full-time ISU Civil Service status employee, be a full-time student working toward an undergraduate degree or diploma, and have a grade point average of "C" or above in high school and/or college. Financial need will be considered. A recipient may be awarded a maximum of two one-year scholarships.
