Helen Diane Hoblit Scholarship
This scholarship was created by Susan R. Hoblit '86, M.S.'96 in memory of her sister Diane '65, M.A.'67. Diane received degrees in English and speech communication and was a vital part of the theatre program at Illinois State University. After graduation she worked as a professional actress and teacher for more than 30 years. One of her greatest accomplishments was collaborating in the creating of the Love Creek Production Company in New York City. Diane was known by her theatre teachers and colleagues as a determined and committed actress. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to student(s) who are enrolled in the School of Theatre and are majoring in the acting sequence.
