Ferrell Family Endowment Scholarship for Prof. Dev. Schools
The Ferrell Family Endowed Scholarship for the Professional Development School in the College of Education at Illinois State University was established in December of 2013 by Audrey Ferrell. Ms. Ferrell began her teaching career in 1950 after receiving a two year teaching certificate from Iowa Wesleyan College. She later completed a four year education degree at Illinois State University in 1971. Candidate for the Ferrell Family Endowed Scholarship must be an Elementary Education major who has been accepted into the PDS internship program and attend a Professional Development School.
