Emily Anne Fredbloom Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The Emily Anne Fredbloom Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2015 by Bruce and Leigh Anne Fredbloom in memory of their daughter, Emily, who passed away in September 2014. The purpose of the scholarship is to support a Mennonite College of Nursing student who is enrolled in good standing and expected to complete all requirements for a degree in nursing within 12 months. Emily Anne Fredbloom graduated cum laude from Mennonite College of Nursing (MCN) in May 2010. Emily was described by friends and co-workers as having a bubbly, bouncy personality with a smile that could light up any room. Her family wanted to continue her good works and hopefully relieve a little stress of other dedicated nursing students by providing assistance to future Mennonite College of Nursing students who embrace Emily's passion for life, nursing, and those she cared for.
