Department of Technology Faculty Professional Development Endowment
This endowment was established in 2000 by Emerson Wiens, a faculty member at Illinois State University from 1988-2000. The purpose of the fund is to provide professional development opportunities for faculty in the Department of Technology that will encourage and support the pursuit of excellence in teaching and scholarship. Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool. The Department of Technology Faculty Professional Development Endowment was established in 2000 in honor of Emerson Wiens, a faculty member at Illinois State University from 1988-2000. The endowment is designed to motivate the Department of Technology to identify special projects to promote excellence. The annual distribution will provide the flexibility to address specific professional development needs.
