The Denise Vowell / Women's Army Corps Philosophy Scholarship recognizes the lasting impact Denise Vowell's philosophy education at Illinois State University had on her military, legal, and public service career while supporting students as they pursue their own unique and meaningful paths. - Scholarship: To provide financial assistance for students meeting the following criteria: - Scholarships will be awarded for the following term: One-Time Award - Be classified as a freshman, sophomore, or junior at the time of application. - Submit a written statement of no more than 500 words describing how the study of Philosophy has impacted their current educational experience and how it will help them pursue a rewarding and meaningful career. - Demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.
