Class of 1934 Scholarship
In 1984 the Class of 1934 established a fund to endow a scholarship in teacher education. Members of the class were asked to contribute to the fund. At the class's 55th anniversary reunion in the spring of 1989, the scholarship will be presented to the University. Candidates for the scholarship must be full time students at ISU, enrolled in the college of education, planning a career in the teaching profession, a student with a 3.0 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale, actively involved in campus activities, and recommended by a member of the ISU professional staff. Assets of this endowment are invested in the ISU Endowment Investment Pool. In 1984 the Class of 1934 established a fund to endow a scholarship in teacher education.
