Brett Cassens Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund
This endowment was established in 1996 in memory of Brett Cassens, a 1972 graduate of Illinois State University, through memorial gifts made by family, friends, colleagues, and through a testamentary gift from the Cassens/Stille Trust. The scholarship is awarded to gay, lesbian, or bisexual undergraduates at the junior or senior level who are committed to a career in healthcare. This scholarship was created by a transfer from a previously endowed scholarship in Student Affairs, suggested and agreed upon by a representative of the original donors, to better meet the original intent of the scholarship.
