Redbirds Rising: The Campaign for Illinois State will enable the University to achieve three critical outcomes: educating tomorrow's leaders, graduating globally aware and socially engaged citizens, and sparking continuous creativity and innovation. To advance these objectives, we offer multiple ways to support WGLT Radio within our key funding categories.
The station has identified five key priorities which are highlighted below. To further explore these objectives, please refer to our Campaign Case Statement.
Varied, real-world experience obtained through WGLT employment and internships allows graduates to enter the workplace with a competitive advantage. A Broadcasting Student Fellowship endowment program will provide financial assistance to young scholars pursuing a broadcast career.
Gift supporting upgrades to facilities and equipment ensure the station remains a valued community service and will help reflect the station's excellence to visiting dignitaries, officials, and artists.
An endowed fund will create a buffer to protect WGLT's public service when unexpected expenses arise and for resources to pursue program growth and enhancement.
Income from private annual gifts keep the station strong while other campaign priorities are achieved.
Gifts of all sizes make an impact on our students, faculty, programs, and facilities. Beyond the monetary gift, outright gifts such as securities, real estate, and gifts-in-kind are other ways you can make a difference. Contact us today to discuss giving options.
