Redbird Athletics

Our Priorities

The division has identified three key priorities which are highlighted below.

  • Reinventing our practice venues

A new, multi-purpose indoor facility is fundamental in helping student athletes perform at the highest level possible. The structure will benefit all 19 teams, boost recruitment efforts, and enhance the student-athlete experience.

  • Expanding support for student athletes

Support for study space and tutorial areas is needed to accommodate our growing number of student-athletes. In order to remain competitive in its recruitment efforts, Athletics must offer NCAA-approved scholarship expenses and cost of attendance stipends.

  • Sustaining excellence

Generous, ongoing support for the Athletics annual fund allows us to respond quickly to opportunities that benefit our student-athletes and enhance our reputation for excellence.
