Redbirds Rising: The Campaign for Illinois State will enable the University to achieve three critical outcomes: educating tomorrow's leaders, graduating globally aware and socially engaged citizens, and sparking continuous creativity and innovation. To advance these objectives, we offer multiple ways to support Redbird Athletics within our key funding categories.
The division has identified three key priorities which are highlighted below. To further explore these objectives, please refer to our Campaign Case Statement.
Reinventing our practice venues
A new, multi-purpose indoor facility is fundamental in helping student athletes perform at the highest level possible. The structure will benefit all 19 teams, boost recruitment efforts, and enhance the student-athlete experience.
Expanding student support
Support for study space and tutorial areas is needed to accommodate our growing number of student-athletes. In order to remain competitive in its recruitment efforts, Athletics must offer NCAA-approved scholarship expenses and cost of attendance stipends.
Generous, ongoing support for the Athletics annual fund allows us to respond quickly to opportunities that benefit our student-athletes and enhance our reputation for excellence.

Every year, passionate Redbird fans gather together to raise funds for the women's athletics programs at Illinois State. This year's annual 'Bird Bash will be held Thursday, April 27, at Redbird Arena and is open to the public.
A “One for One” membership drive to boost the Weisbecker Scholarship Fund continues through 2016.
Gifts of all sizes make an impact on our students, faculty, programs, and facilities. Beyond the monetary gift, outright gifts such as securities, real estate, and gifts-in-kind are other ways you can make a difference. Contact us today to discuss giving options.
