The Family and Consumer Science (FCS) General Fund provides support for the activities, programs, and operations, including named commemorative scholarships and awards, of the department.
The Lois Jett Historic Costume Collection Fund was established in 1978 by Lois Jett to help maintain the collection of costumes and fashion samples for the department. If the historic costume collection is eliminated from the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. Funds are also benefit the the Lois R. Jett Endowed Scholarship Fund.
The Family and Consumer Sciences General Scholarship Fund provides educational support to undergraduate and/or graduate students majoring in any program within the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences.

The Lois R. Jett Endowed Scholarship was established by Lois R. Jett in October 2005 to provide financial assistance to a student majoring in apparel, fashion merchandising/design, or related arts represented in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. Applicants must maintain a 3.7 GPA.
