Redbirds Rising is supported by the National Campaign Committee, a dedicated group of volunteers with representation from throughout Illinois State and led by three co-chair couples. These volunteers help extend the reach of the University in promoting the campaign and communicating about the impact of philanthropic support, by engaging with prospective donors to encourage support of Illinois State, and providing advice and consulting with university leadership about aspects of the campaign.
Mark Pelletier has committed to a $1.2 million estate gift and $100,000 cash commitment to establish the Mark Pelletier Fund for Faculty, which supports faculty development within the nursing college. Read more
A $2.5 million gift from the estate of Dr. Fred Gletten ’71 will establish the Dr. Fred Gletten Endowed Chair in Biological Sciences. Gletten’s gift, made during the Redbirds Rising campaign, is the largest gift to the School of Biological Sciences in Illinois State history. Read more
