Lois R. Jett Endowed Scholarship
The Lois R. Jett Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in October 2005. Lois R. Jett earned her bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education from the University of Illinois- Urbana in 1955 and a master's degree in Home Economics Education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 1959. After graduation, she taught high school home economics for 6 years. She came to Illinois State University in 1962 and worked in the Dept. of Family and Consumer Sciences until retiring as Assistant Professor in 1989. She was also instrumental in establishing the Lois Jett Historical Costume Collection.
